During her three year marriage with Orlando Bloom, Miranda gave birth to her first son Flynn Christopher Bloom, on January 6, 2011. The name Christopher came after Miranda's late first boyfriend Christopher Middlebrook, whom she dated for two years, passed away due to a car accident, when Kerr was 16. After his death, Miranda wrote a letter in which she told him, that she hoped to name her first child after him in some way. In 2012, Flynn appeared with Kerr in Vogue - July, photographed by Will Davidson and on the cover of Who - April. In 2013, Kerr's son appeared with her in a photo session by Emily Weiss.
